Lantus

Lantus is indicated for once-daily subcutaneous administration at bedtime in the treatment of adult and pediatric patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus or adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who require basal (long-acting) insulin for the control of hyperglycemia. Lantus is one of few insulin analogs used once a day that is proven to lower basal glucose levels for a full 24 hours with no pronounced peak. Lantus insulin pens with replaceable 3ml cartridges available upon request.
